This full-time Physical Therapist position serves multiple PK-12 school sites in the Navarre, FL area, offering an engaging itinerant role primarily supporting elementary-aged students. The contract runs from ASAP through June 2, 2026, providing consistent hours with a caseload averaging 40 students per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering physical therapy services to students across multiple schools within the district.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other therapists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Ensuring compliance with state regulations and school policies.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings is preferred.
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the district.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with school staff and families.
